Puppets
I Duda great puppet making workshop and learned a really cool technique using water bottles. I will be looking for mini single serve water bottles and regular size ones for donations soon.
Van Gogh
I visited the Art Institute of Chicago yesterday evening. It brought tears to my eyes to be able to see up close the artworks that I teach with for inspiration. Everything from Ancient Chinese art to more recent works. Can you name the artist and the name of the artwork in these next 2 pictures? If you are following me you know where to put your answers.

Arrival in Chicago
After a delay in Regina and a mad dash to my connecting flight in Minneapolis with only 10 minutes to spare I am in Chicago for NAEA 2016. I have decided to use my puctures to run a little contest to see who is checking the blog. I will post pictures and a question. Put the answer to the question in the inbox with your name, grade, and date.
Here is question #1:
What architecture order are these columns at my hotel?

Fairytale land investigators
Grade 1's are discovering crime scenes in fairytale land. How tall was Humpty's wall, would he have really fell and broke? Who broke into the 3 Bears' home, whose fingerprints are on the bowls? How big is the Giant's foot?
